When do you need a CNCC?
If a CNCC is required, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will request it by sending you a letter after you have submitted your application for permanent residence in Canada.
When applying for a police certificate from the Hong Kong Police Force, it's essential to include or submit the letter received from IRCC. The police certificate will be sent directly to the IRCC office at the Consulate General of Canada by the Hong Kong Police Force, and there is no need for you to send it separately.
